MP Murlidhar Mohol Launches 24×7 Digital Citizen Service Center in Pune for Seamless Public Assistance
Pune, 11th July 2025: Pune is set to witness a new era in public service delivery with the launch of a state-of-the-art, 24×7 digital citizen service center by Pune’s Member of Parliament Murlidhar Mohol. Located on Jungli Maharaj Road (JM Road) opposite Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Garden, this fully computerized office is designed to address citizens’ issues related to Central and Maharashtra State Government schemes, guidance, and immediate services, all under one roof.
The inauguration of the center will take place on Saturday at 3:30 PM, led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The event will also see the presence of BJP State President Ravindra Chavan, Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, and Minister of State for Urban Development Madhuri Misal. BJP State General Secretary Rajesh Pandey announced these details at a press conference.
Following the inauguration, Chief Minister Fadnavis will release Murlidhar Mohol’s one-year performance report at Balgandharva Rangmandir and unveil Mohol’s book on his experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, two fully equipped ambulances will be dedicated to the city, and a special felicitation will be held for BJP State President Ravindra Chavan.
The digital citizen service center features separate counters for each department, including dedicated desks for central and state government services, Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporations, and PMRDA-related grievances. Key service areas include guidance on government schemes, civil aviation, cooperative department, railway and pilgrimage assistance, instant certificates through Maha E-Seva Kendra, employment and self-employment support, medical aid, assistance for differently-abled citizens, educational guidance, and legal advice.
A standout feature of the office is its fully digital and computerized system, eliminating the need for queues. With digital tokens, e-document submission, and virtual consultation facilities, the center promises a fast, transparent, and citizen-centric experience.
MP Murlidhar Mohol emphasized that the office is designed with ordinary citizens at its core, aiming to remove bureaucratic hurdles and information gaps. Special provisions have been made for differently-abled, senior citizens, and rural residents, ensuring inclusive and accessible services.
