Gunfire at Pune’s Bavdhan Farmhouse Party Sparks Panic, One Arrested
Pune, 11th July 2025: A late-night party at a farmhouse in Sus Gaon near Bavdhan escalated into chaos on 8th July when a guest fired two rounds from a pistol, endangering the lives of attendees and disturbing public peace. The suspect, identified as Dinesh Babulal Singh (40), a resident of Mamurdi, was arrested by Bavdhan Police following a complaint filed by Devaram Dinesh Verma (24) of Sus Gaon.
According to police, the incident occurred around 11:30 PM when Singh discharged his pistol into the air during the gathering, causing panic among partygoers and creating an atmosphere of fear in the area. The gunfire not only threatened the safety of those present but also disrupted public order.
Bavdhan Police responded quickly, apprehending Dinesh Singh and launching an investigation into the use of firearms and the circumstances leading up to the incident.
