Mumbai, 30th September 2023- Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, has once again been targeted with death threats. An anonymous sender has emailed a threat, demanding a ransom of Rs 400 crore. This alarming development was reported by the police on Tuesday.

Ambani’s company received this email on Monday, marking the third threat against him in just four days. The sender warned, “You did not heed our warnings, and now the sum has escalated to Rs 400 crore. Regardless of your security measures, one of our snipers is sufficient.”

Previously, on Friday, an unidentified individual sent a menacing email demanding Rs 20 crore. Subsequently, the head of Ambani’s security filed a report at the Gamdevi police station. On Saturday, yet another email arrived, this time demanding Rs 200 crore.

In addition, the police officer disclosed that the third email was received by the company on Monday. He further noted that the Mumbai Police, along with their crime branch and cyber teams, are diligently working to trace the sender of these threatening messages.

It’s worth noting that last year, Mumbai Police apprehended a man from Darbhanga, Bihar, for making death threats against Mukesh Ambani and his family members. The accused had also issued a bomb threat against the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai.
