Multiple Incidents Of Tree Falls And Water Logging Across Pune

Pune, 11th September 2022: The city received heavy rain for two hours. Due to this, water has accumulated on the roads in many places and incidents of tree falling have occurred in multiple areas.

According to the Fire Brigade, a total of eight places in the city have waterlogged roads, and fire brigade officials are working there. Similarly, tree felling incidents have occurred at five places. The fire brigade reached the spot immediately.

According to the information from the fire brigade, a large amount of water has accumulated in the city, including Chandan Nagar Police Station, Ved Bhavan Kothrud, Garbage Depot Kothrud near Vanaj, Laman Tanda in Pashan, Someshwar Tanda in Pashan, Wanowrie, Shital Petrol Pump in Kondhwa, B T Kawde Road, and Katraj Udyan.

Similarly, tree falling incidents have taken place near NCL on Pashan road, Salunkhe Vihar, near Jyoti Hotel in Kondhwa, Chavan Nagar, and near Ruby Hall Clinic (Pune station). The fire brigade reached the spot as they got the information.

For the past few days, the rain had taken a break in the city, but today suddenly, heavy rain began, and the citizens are in a state of panic. Similarly, due to water accumulation on the roads in many places, a big problem has risen concerning traffic.
