Multiplex Horror: Woman Discovers Man Trying To Peek Into Toilet, Accused Escapes
Pimpri Chinchwad, 10th March 2023: A woman was left terrified after she discovered a man trying to secretly watch her while she was using the public washroom of a multiplex in the Rahatani.
The 27-year-old victim had gone to the City Pride Royal Cinema on Thursday to watch the afternoon show at 2:45 pm with her husband and brother at the Spot 18 Mall. Before the film started, she went to use the washroom. However, she was alarmed when she found an unknown man trying to peek inside the toilet by bending his head.
The woman raised an alarm and people gathered at the spot, but the accused managed to escape from the exit door. The mall employees informed the police and a case was registered. The police have checked the CCTV footage and launched a search to track down the accused, who they have described as a youth in his early 20s, about six feet tall with a thin build and short dark hair. The accused was wearing a blue T-shirt and trousers, and was holding a bag in his hand.
Senior police inspector Satyawan Mane, in-charge of Wakad police station, has assured that the police are hopeful of tracking down the accused soon.
