Mumbai, 28th October 2021: Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, who was lodged in Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai was granted bail today, three weeks after being arrested onboard a cruise ship.

Along with Aryan, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant have also got bail. However, due to the non-receipt of the copy of the order from the court at present, the trio may have to remain in jail till Friday or Saturday.

The hearing lasted for about 2 hours after starting at 3 pm at the Bombay High court. At around 4.45 pm, the court gave its verdict in this case. Opposing the bail of the accused, Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Anil Singh made a number of arguments for rejecting the bail on behalf of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), but the court granted bail to the accused.

Mukul Rohatgi who was representing Aryan Khan during the hearing, on winning the bail plea case said, ”For me, it is a regular case, you win some and you lose some, I am happy that he got bail.”
