Navratri Dance with a Message: Pune Women’s Committee Spreads Awareness on Women’s Lives

Alandi, 24th October 2023: In an uplifting display of art and activism, the Women’s Cultural Committee of Shubhankaroti Society in Chovisawadi, near Kale Petrol Pump on Alandi Road, utilized the occasion of Navratri to spread a constructive message on women’s lives through dance. Performed to the song “Baipan Bhari Deva,” the event was more than just a celebration; it was an avenue for social awareness.

 

Led by Tripti Santosh Takle, the president of the Women’s Cultural Committee, the group offered insights into how women should lead their lives, drawing inspiration from the movie “Baipan Bhari Deva.” The dance number was not just entertainment but carried a profound message aimed at both women and men in the community.

 

The initiative was a collective effort, with notable contributions from Nalini Surgude as the commentator, and team members Nalini Chandane, Snehal Jadhav, Rajshree Gadiwan, Shubhra Sutar, Swati Kore, Vrishali Boyane, Monali Petkar, Swati Date, Jayashree Mali, Sonali Mane, and Rupali Borse. The ensemble left an indelible impression on the audience, garnering widespread admiration for their work.

 

 

The commitment to the cause doesn’t end here for Tripti Santosh Takle and her team. They plan to travel to various locations to present similar awareness programs designed to celebrate and respect the role of women in society.
