NEET PG Counselling 2025 Date: Check Complete Details of Registration, Fees, and Allotment Result
New Delhi, 21st August 2025: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the NEET PG result and cutoff. After the declaration of results, the scorecard will be made available from August 29 or later. Once the results are out, candidates need to take part in counselling to complete the admission process. As per reports, NEET PG counselling is likely to begin in the first week of August, and the detailed schedule will be shared soon.
NEET PG Cutoff 2025:
•General/EWS: 50th percentile, score 276
•General PwBD: 45th percentile, score 255
•SC/ST/OBC (including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC): 40th percentile, score 235
NEET PG Counselling Process:
•Registration for counselling
•Choice locking
•Seat allotment process
•Release of allotment list
•Reporting to the allotted institute and securing admission
Counselling Fees:
For participating in NEET PG counselling:
•For AIQ/Central Universities: General – ₹1000; SC/ST/OBC – ₹500 (Non-refundable)
•For Deemed Universities: ₹5000 (Non-refundable)
Security Deposit (Refundable):
•AIQ/Central Universities: General – ₹25,000; SC/ST/OBC – ₹10,000
•Deemed Universities: ₹2,00,000

Candidates will also undergo document verification during counselling. Hence, they should prepare all necessary documents in advance to avoid any issues. Important documents include:

•Class 10 Marksheet/Birth Certificate
•MBBS Marksheet
•MBBS Degree Certificate & Internship Completion Certificate
•Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI/SMC
•Valid Photo ID Proof (PAN Card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhaar)
•Caste Certificate (if applicable), Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (if applicable)
•Disability Certificate (if applicable)
Through NEET PG, candidates can secure admission in MD/MS/PG Diploma courses, Post-MBBS DNB courses, Direct 6-year DrNB courses, and NBEMS Diploma programmes. Admissions will be granted for 50% All India Quota seats, 100% seats in Deemed and Central Universities, and 100% seats in All India Open DNB.
