New flight from Pune to Prayagraj from today, several other flights cancelled

Pune, June 10, 2020: The Pune airport started smooth operation from May 25 after the government allowed domestic flight operations across the country. The airport is witnessing a large number of passengers movement.

Now the airport has added a new flight from Pune to Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh from today. One of the leading airlines of the country Indigo will operate the new flight. The slot was given to the airline earlier but due to lockdown, the operation was stopped.

As per information shared by officials, flight number 6E 5983 from Prayagraj to Pune will arrive at 2.30 pm and flight number 6E 5984 will depart from Pune to Prayagraj at 3.20 pm. Apart from this, Indigo will start flight between Pune to Lucknow from June 11. Flight number 6E 6997 from Lucknow to Pune will arrive at 2.30 pm and depart from Pune to Lucknow at 3.20 pm.

According to an official of Pune airport, “The new flight has been added from today after May 25. The airport is getting a good response from passengers. All flights are operating very smoothly.”

However, today the airport will operate 24 flights (as per details available till now) and 9 will be cancelled. Nine flights including Pune-Bangalore SpiceJet flight, Delhi-Pune-Kolkata Indigo flight, Air Asia Pune-Bangalore, Go Air Pune-Bangalore, Nagpur-Pune-Bangalore, Vistara Delhi-Pune-Delhi, Go Air Ahmedabad-Pune and Chennai-Pune.
