New Year Special Trains Announced via Pune to Link Mumbai and Hyderabad

Pune, 27th December 2025: Indian Railways will operate New Year special trains between Mumbai and Hyderabad via Pune to manage increased passenger movement during the year-end travel period.

According to the announced schedule, Train No. 07458 Hyderabad–LTT Mumbai New Year Special will depart Hyderabad at 17:30 hrs on Sunday, 28 December 2025, and arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), Mumbai at 10:40 hrs the following day. The return service, Train No. 07459 LTT Mumbai–Hyderabad New Year Special, will leave LTT Mumbai at 15:20 hrs on Monday, 29 December 2025, and reach Hyderabad at 09:00 hrs the next day.

Both special trains will have a scheduled halt at Pune, providing additional travel options for passengers from the city during the New Year period. Other stoppages include Begampet, Lingampalli, Vikarabad, Tandur, Wadi, Kalaburagi, Solapur and Kalyan.

The train composition will include 22 coaches, comprising 1 First AC cum AC-II Tier, 2 AC-II Tier, 5 AC-III Tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 2 Second Class coaches and 2 Luggage cum Brake Vans.

Reservations for these New Year special trains, operated with special charges, are open at all computerised reservation centres and on the IRCTC website. Bookings for unreserved coaches can be made through station booking counters and the UTS mobile application.

Passengers can check detailed halt timings at intermediate stations through the Indian Railways enquiry portal or by using the RailOne and NTES mobile applications.
