NFR Recruitment 2022: Apply for 5636 vacancies in Northeast Frontier Railway from June 1, know eligibility

New Delhi, 4 June 2022: Good news for the candidates who are waiting for the apprenticeship opportunities in Northeast Frontier Railway. It has released advertisement for 5636 vacancies of Apprenticeships in various trades in various Workshops/Units. As per the advertisement released by NFR on Monday, 30 May 2022, the process of online application for the announced Apprentice vacancies is going to start from Wednesday, 1st June 2022.

Interested candidates having the prescribed qualification may visit the official website of NFR, nfr.indianrailways.gov.in through the link provided or the online application page from the direct link given below. The last date of application has been fixed as 30 June 2022. During the application candidates also have to pay the application fee of Rs.100.

For an Apprentice in Northeast Frontier Railway, one must have passed the Matriculation examination from a recognized Board with at least 50% marks. Also, candidates should have done ITI in the trade related to the vacancies. Candidates age should not be less than 15 years and not more than 24 years as on 1st April 2022. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories as per the rules of the Central Government.

Process of selection of candidates

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Merit for Apprentice in Various Trade in Northeast Frontier Railway. Merit list for various trades, units and communities will be prepared according to the marks obtained in Matriculation and ITI of the candidates. According to this list, candidates will be invited for Document Verification.
