NIA Arrives in Pune to Gather Information from Jagdale Family About Pahalgam Attack

Pune, 25th April 2025: A team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrived in Pune on Friday as part of the ongoing probe into the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The team visited the Karvenagar residence of the Jagdale family, who were among the victims of the April 22 terror incident.

Santosh Jagdale, a Pune resident, was killed in the brutal attack, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists. His wife and daughter, who were with him during the assault, escaped unharmed.

The NIA team met with Jagdale’s family members to gather first-hand information about the sequence of events that unfolded during the attack. Officials said the interaction is crucial in helping them identify the attackers and understand how the incident was carried out.

The Jagdales and family of Kaustubh Ganbote from Kondhwa were among several tourists visiting the popular hill town of Pahalgam when armed terrorists killed them.
