Pimpri Chinchwad, 23rd January 2025: Yesterday, Minister of Ports Development of Maharashtra and Kankavli MLA Nitesh Rane was on a Pune tour to attend two events. While speaking at an event in Pimpri Chinchwad, he questioned the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, calling it suspicious and suggesting it might have been staged. He also targeted Baramati MP Supriya Sule and claimed that there are attempts to make India an Islamic country.
Events were organized in Alandi and Nigdi of Pune District to commemorate the first anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Nitesh Rane attended both events. At these events, Rane made sensational claims regarding the attack on Saif Ali Khan, which occurred on January 16th.
Mumbai Police have arrested the Bangladeshi attacker who was illegally living in India, and Saif Ali Khan was discharged from the hospital on January 21st, five days after the attack.
Rane said, “The attacker who entered Saif Ali Khan’s house was a Bangladeshi man. Saif was walking properly after treatment. Therefore, the attack on Saif is suspicious. Did he stab himself with a knife? Was all this staged? Maybe he came to take Saif Ali Khan away. It’s good; garbage should be taken away.”
Rane further criticized Supriya Sule and Mumbra MLA Jitendra Awhad, claiming they show concern for Saif Ali Khan, Nawab Malik, and Shah Rukh Khan’s son, but remain quiet on issues like Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. He alleged they don’t speak about Hindu actors and artists being attacked. “That Mumbra’s Jeetuddin (Jitendra Awhad) and Baramati’s Tai (Supriya Sule) did not come forward to say anything. They are only worried about Saif Ali Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s son, and Nawab Malik,” Rane stated.
Rane also addressed the Bangladeshi infiltrator problem, stating it’s worsening and they are targeting people who say “Jai Shri Ram.” He emphasized the importance of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, calling it a momentous occasion for every Hindu. Rane expressed concerns about encroachment on Hindu religious sites and called for vigilance among the Hindu community.
He criticized the concept of secularism, calling it a charade for Hindu society, and asserted that India is a Hindu nation where Hindu interests should be prioritized. Rane promised strict action against those who trouble cow protectors and urged kirtankars to continue preaching about Hindu dharma.
Rane further stated, “In the coming days, we won’t allow a single slaughterhouse in the state. The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister’s blood isn’t red, it’s saffron. In this government, we need to live with our collars tightened. I assure you that if Hindus face any trouble, officials will stand behind them.”
He concluded by saying, “When the Ram temple was erected, some people were irritated. Some green snakes were saying, ‘Don’t chant Jai Shri Ram.’ Therefore, it’s necessary to assert our identity in these times. When we weren’t in power, green powder was being thrown around the state with chants of ‘Pakistan Zindabad.’ But Hindus responded to that at the ballot box. They have installed a saffron government in the state.”
