“No Amount of Thank Yous Are Enough for Our Bravest of Bravehearts”: Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Salutes Indian Armed Forces

Mumbai, 9th May 2025: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday to express his heartfelt gratitude and salute the Indian Armed Forces for their decisive action under Operation Sindoor, amid escalating tensions with Pakistan. “No amount of Thank Yous are enough for our bravest of bravehearts. My infinite Salutes to our Indian Armed Forces and their families. Grateful for the powerful leadership of our Hon PM Narendra Modi ji,” Fadnavis tweeted, highlighting the state’s solidarity with the military and the central government’s leadership.
Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives, targeted terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK). The operation has been widely hailed for its focused and measured approach, aimed at dismantling terror infrastructure without escalating conflict. Fadnavis’s statement comes as India continues to counter cross-border drone and missile attacks, including a recent drone sighting in Mumbai’s sensitive Sakinaka area, which triggered security alerts but yielded no suspicious findings after police searches.
The Maharashtra government, in coordination with central agencies, remains on high alert with enhanced coastal and urban security measures. Police and the Coast Guard have intensified patrols and surveillance to prevent any hostile incursions. Fadnavis assured that the administration, police, and civil defence forces are fully prepared to respond to any threat.
