Pune Weather Alert: Light Rainfall, Thunderstorms, Gusty Winds Likely Till May 14
Pune, 9th May 2025: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather advisory for Pune, forecasting partly cloudy skies accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph from May 10 to 14. Light rainfall is also very likely during this period.
Till today afternoon, rainfall was reported in many parts of Pune including Kondhwa, Katraj, Baner, Balewadi, and Sadashiv Peth among others.
Residents are advised to exercise caution while outdoors, especially during evening hours when thunderstorms are more frequent.
