No flights from Pune to Kolkata till August 31

Pune, August 11, 2020: The State Government of West Bengal has extended the ban on direct flights coming to Kolkata from six cities due to the Coronavirus till August 31. This is the third time when the government has taken a decision to ban the flights. The first ban on flights was till July 31, then the second was till August 15.

The West Bengal Government, while issuing the order, said that due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the ban on flights to Kolkata coming from six cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Chennai and Ahmedabad continues.

Significantly, the State Government has banned the air services from these six cities coming to Kolkata since July 6.
