No Lockdown Plan In Pune, Action Will Be Taken Against Those Sharing Fake Message: District Collector

Pune, February 20, 2021: “An old clip of TV9 news channel is being widely circulated stating that lockdown will be declared in Pune from Monday. However, there is no such lockdown plan”, Pune District Collector Rajesh Deshmukh has clarified.

“Action will be taken against people who are sharing the clip and fake messages about lockdown in Pune”, District Information Officer Rajendra Sarag said.

Officials from the police and Pune municipal corporation (PMC) have also clarified that there is no plan to impose lockdown in Pune.
