Now Pune District Has 79.51 Lakh Voters, Check Your Names Online

Pune, 6th January 2023: The final voter list of all assembly constituencies in the Pune district based on the eligibility date of 1st January 2023 was released today under the Special Short Revision Program conducted as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India. Accordingly, the total number of voters in the Pune district is 79 lakh 51 thousand 420 with additional 74,470 voters.

As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India (ECI) and the Chief Electoral Officer of Maharashtra State, a special brief revision program was conducted from 9 November 2022 based on the qualification date of 1 January 2023.

As per the schedule of the Special Short Revision Program, the final voter list has been released today in the offices of all Voter Registration Officers in the Pune District and all designated places.

A total of 74 thousand 470 voters have increased in this final voter list, in which the number of male voters has increased by 35 thousand 598, the number of female voters by 38 thousand 721 and the number of transgenders has increased by 151. According to this, the district has a total of 79 lakh 51 thousand 420 voters in 21 assembly constituencies. Among them, the number of male voters is 41 lakh 66 thousand 265, the number of female voters is 37 lakh 84 thousand 660 and the number of transgender voters is 495.

“As the final voter list has been made available in all voter registration officer offices for inspection, citizens can check that their name is included in the voter list. Also on the website https://www.nvsp.in and https://ceoelection.maharashtra.gov.in/ceo/, the voter list without a photograph is available online. All the citizens of Pune district should make sure that their name is included in the final voter list”, said District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh.

Eligible citizens whose names are still not included in the voter list should register their names online on the portal https://www.nvsp.in or go to the nearest Voter Registration Officer office and apply offline by filling Form No. 6, Dr Deshmukh has informed.
