Now Pune University In 541–550 Rank Bracket of QS World University Rankings

Pune, 9th June 2022: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has risen from the 591–600 bracket to 541-550 rank bracket in the ‘QS World University Ranking 2023’, a ranking of world class educational institutions.

 

The QS World University Ranking is a very prestigious ranking system providing insight into the global higher education sector. In the last few years, Savitribai Phule Pune University has been steadily rising as one of the leading Indian universities in this ranking.

This year’s rankings were announced on Wednesday, June 8. The ranking evaluated 1422 institutes from all over the world including 41 from India like the IITs and IISc.

 

The Times Higher Education Asia ranking 2022 announced a special award in THE Datapoint Research Category this year.

Amongst 8 finalists selected from more than 500 Asian educational institutions, SPPU emerged as the winner.

 

“In the last few years the University has risen up steadily and has earned a position of honor as one of the prestigious universities in the nation. This advancement in ranking was made our claim for the ‘Institute of Eminence’ even stronger”, said
