Now villagers of Shirdi say they do not any objection on the pilgrimage development plan for Pathri

Mumbai, January 20, 2020: Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s mediation has been successful in the wake of the band, which was called by the villagers of Shirdi. The meeting was convened here today regarding the band.

In a meeting, which was called in Aurangabad, the pilgrimage area development plan has been approved for Pathri. In light of this, the villagers of Shirdi have announced in the meeting today that they have no objection to this development plan.

While expressing their stand by the villagers of Shirdi, they have observed band keeping in mind the sentiments of the devotees of Sai. Speaking on this occasion, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Mr. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil said that before this, the government does not have any stand pertaining to the place of birth. Such stand should still be kept.

            Chief Minister Mr. Thackeray said that the villagers should remain Shraddha (revered) and saburi (patience). We have approved the pilgrimage development plan of Pathri in divisional meeting which was held at Aurangabad. As a result, this area can also be developed, that is our intention.

After this successful mediation by the Chief Minister, the villagers of Shirdi made it clear that they had no objection to the pilgrimage development plan of Pathri. On this occasion, the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Revenue Minister were honored on behalf of Shirdi Sansthan and villagers.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat, Member of Parliament (MP) Sadashiv Lokhande, MLA Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil, Chief Executive Officer of Shirdi Sansthan Deepak Mugalikar and villagers of Shirdi were also present at the meeting, which was held at Sahyadri Guest House.
