NSS youth students from North-East states pay courtesy visit to CM

Gandhinagar, Wednesday: More than 80 NSS students from North-East states of India today met Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel here in Gandhinagar and received her inspirational guidance. The youth NSS students came to visit Gujarat under Inter-state Youth Exchange and Home Stay Programme; which has been organized by Government of India’s Ministry for Youth Affairs and Sports department. She called on the NSS students to wisely use their demographic dividend in development of nation and to strengthen the society.

The students have exchanged their experiences during the visit of Gujarat with Mrs. Patel. The students praised about the campaigns conducted by the State Government such as cleanliness, girl child education and health-care and the influence of Gandhi ideology in the social life of the people of Gujarat as well. The NSS students group visited the Mahatma Mandir, Dandi Kutir in Gandhinagar and said that they experienced ideology of Gandhi. The students also have expressed their delight regarding the inspirational schemes for youth of Gujarat and well-planned development of infrastructural facilities in Gujarat during the discussions with Mrs. Patel.

On the occasion the Education Minister Mr. Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and the Regional Director of NSS Mr. Kamalkumar Kar and Secretary to Gujarat CM Mr. Ajay Bhadoo were remained present.
