ODISHA HANDLOOMS EXPO comes to Pune city
Over 30 unique varieties of traditional Odisha Handlooms to be displayed at the expo
Pune, September 9, 2015: GoCoop.com, India’s first online Social Marketplace for weavers & artisans, has organised ‘Odisha Handlooms’ Exhibition & Buyer Seller Meet at Indraprastha Hall, Pune from 8th to 13th September, 2015. Over 20 co-operatives and weavers from different clusters of Odisha exhibit & sell exquisite handloom products at the ‘Odisha Handlooms’ exhibition. Over 30 unique varieties of traditional Odisha Handlooms like Ikat, Tussar, Khandua, Sambalpuri, Bomkai & many more will be on display & sale.
GoCoop is organising this exhibition of exclusive Odisha handloom products for the 1st time in Pune on behalf of SADHAC (State agency for development of Handloom Clusters), Dept. of Handlooms and Textiles, Government of Odisha. Reputed organisations like BOYANKA (Orissa State Handloom Weavers Co-operative Society Ltd), SERIFED (Orissa state Tassar & Silk Federation Ltd), UTKALIKA (Orissa State Co-operative Handicraft corporation ltd.) & SAMBALPURI BASTRALAYA are participating at the exhibition. Handloom lovers can buy from a wide range of exquisite Sarees, Dress Materials, Dupattas, Stoles, Home furnishings & Fabrics.
The ‘Odisha Handlooms’ Exhibition & Buyer Seller Meet is being held at Indraprastha Hall, Opp Chattushringi Temple, Senapati Bapat Road, Pune from 8th to 13th September between 10 am to 9pm.
