Offensive Graffiti Against PM Modi On Walls Of Pune University, FIR Registered

Pune, 3rd November 2023: The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) witnessed a heated clash between members of the Students Federation of India (SFI) and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on the 1st November. The altercation occurred during the SFI’s membership registration drive, leading to injuries on both sides.

Simultaneously, another controversy has erupted over derogatory writings about Prime Minister Narendra Modi discovered on the walls of Savitribai Phule Pune University hostel number 8. The offensive content has gone viral on social media platforms, prompting an investigation by the university administration to identify the responsible party.

The dispute between SFI and ABVP escalated when the SFI activists were registering new members in the university. A quarrel ensued between ABVP and SFI workers, resulting in injuries to activists from both sides. ABVP has accused SFI of forcefully enrolling members, further intensifying the conflict on campus.

The derogatory writings about Prime Minister Modi have stirred controversy within the university. The university administration is investigating the matter to determine the individual responsible for the offensive text.

In response to the offensive graffiti, the BJP Pune city chapter has announced a protest scheduled for today at 1:30 pm on the university premises. The BJP is demanding legal action against those involved in defaming the Prime Minister. The situation remains tense as political undertones continue to amplify the already charged atmosphere on campus.
