Officials On Alert Regarding Security At Pune Railway Station, Station Advisory Committee Meeting Held

Pune, 17th December 2022: In the wake of the increasing criminal incidents in Pune railway station, the members of the railway station advisory committee recently held a meeting with senior officials.

 

Railway Officers Ajay Kumar, Mangesh Polke, Pune Railway Security Force Inspector BS Raghuvanshi, railway inspector Deepali More along with committee members Adinath Shinde, Santosh Rajguru, Anand Saptarshi, Ganesh Yadav, and others were present in the meeting.

 

Criminal incidents have been happening at Pune railway station for the past few days. Five days ago, a child was kidnapped from the station premises. The members kept the officers on edge by taking some of these issues into the discussion of the meeting. It was also alleged that proper security measures were not being taken at the station.

 

In the meeting, various issues related to the security of the station were discussed. It was also ordered to start the search for the abducted child immediately. The members of the committee suggested to the authorities that necessary concrete measures should be taken to prevent such incidents from happening in the station premises, state-of-the-art CCTV cameras should be installed, the bag checking machine at the station should be made functional again, and the additional entrance to the railway station should be closed.
