Only 18 Covid-19 Infected Patients Left In Pune City
Pune, 31st May 2023: The Covid-19 that caused havoc about three years ago is now on the verge of ending completely. Currently, only 18 active corona patients are left in the city. Out of these only four patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
On the contrary, the number of corona patients in the jurisdiction of all municipalities, Cantonment Boards, and Zilla Parishad in the rural areas of the Pune district has reduced to zero as of Tuesday (30th May). Due to this, the entire rural area of the district is now corona free.
Currently, there are only 36 active corona patients left in the city and district. Of these, Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad have eighteen patients each. Out of the total of 36 patients in these two cities, only six patients have been admitted to hospitals for treatment.
Among these six patients, four are from Pune City and two are from Pimpri Chinchwad. Except for six patients who are receiving treatment, the remaining 30 patients have been kept in isolation at home. Among them, there are 14 patients in Pune City and 16 patients in Pimpri Chinchwad.
Meanwhile, only 10 new corona patients have been found in the Pune district during the day on Tuesday. The total new cases for the day include seven from Pune City and three from Pimpri Chinchwad. It is clear from this report that with these new patients detected during the day, the total number of active corona patients in the district is only 36.
