Pune, 8th June 2023: In a commendable display of their commitment to passenger safety, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Central Railway has successfully rescued a total of 163 children during the month of May 2023. This remarkable feat was accomplished through the collaborative efforts of the RPF, Government Railway Police (GRP), and dedicated railway personnel, under the operation named “Nanhe Farishte” (Little Angels).

The RPF, which is entrusted with the crucial task of safeguarding railway infrastructure, passenger areas, and commuters, has extended their responsibility to include the rescue of vulnerable children.
