Organisations Supporting Palestine In Pune Protest Against Israel Amid Ongoing War
Pune 14th Oct 2023: Several organisations that are supporting Palestine amid ongoing war between Palestine and Israel held a protest outside the district collector office in Pune. The protestors also submitted a letter to the deputy collector after their protest.
According to the news report published by the Indian Express, the organisations that were involved in the protest include Revolutionary Workers’ Party of India, New Socialist Alternative, Naujawan Bharat Sabha, Stree Mukti League. The protestors raised slogans against Israel’s alleged illegal occupation of Palestinian land while demanding a free state of Palesttine.
The protestors claimed that they were supporting the freedom movement of Palestine and the attack from Gaza towards Israel on October 7 was self defence. The protestors also said that they condemn the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly supporting Israel in the ongoing war while demanding that the country should stand by Palestine.
