Over 100 entries for 1st KCA PYC Age Group Chess Tournament

Pune, February 10, 2023: Over 100 players in various age groups will be seen in action at the 1st KCA PYC Age Group Chess Tournament 2023 which is being organized by Kunte Chess Academy in association with PYC Hindu Gymkhana under the aegis of Pune District Chess Circle and will played at PYC Hindu Gymkhana on 12th February 2023

Mrs. Mrunalini Aurangabadkar,Director Kunte Chess Academy said that, The Tournament is sponsored by Sujanil Chemo Industries. The event will be played under Swiss league format. The event will be played in the Under 10 and under 14 Category. There are around 25 plus Rated players who will be playing in this Tournament, includes few prominent upcoming youngsters from Pune. Prominent players who have confirmed their entries for the event include former U-7 World School champion Aarush Dolas, Current U-8 District Champion Nivaan Agarwal, District Champion Aarna Belani, Prathamesh Sherla, Aaryan Rao.

The tournament will be inaugurated at the hands of Mr.Sarang Lagu – Secretary of PYC Hindu Gymkhana, Mr.Vinayak Dravid, Cricket Secretary of PYC, Mr.Shirish Sathe, Chess Secretary of PYC and Mr.Ashish Desai, CEO of Sujanil Chemo Industries on 12 february 2023 at 10.30am.
