PANKAJ ADVANI INAUGURATES WINDERMERE’S CLUBHOUSE AND SPORTS ARENA IN KOREGAON PARK
Pune, 10th February 2020: Mr. Pankaj Advani, Padma Bhushan Awardee, internationally renowned cueist and 23 times world billiards champion inaugurated the Club House and Sporting Arena at WINDERMERE, VASCON’s one-of-a-kind luxury project located in the upmarket locality of Koregaon Park, Pune. Mr. R Vasudevan – Chairman, Vascon Engineers Ltd; Mr. Rajan Khinvasara, President – Billiards and Snooker Association of Maharashtra (BSAM), Mr. Siddharth Vasudevan, Managing Director and eminent dignitaries from different walks of life graced the occasion.
It was also an important occasion as Mr. R Vasudevan felicitated Mr. Rajan Khinvasara, President – BSAM for his selfless contribution and dedicated efforts to promote cue sports over the years.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. R Vasudevan – Chairman, Vascon Engineers Ltd said, “Rajan’s passion for the cue sport has been a key driver for his contribution towards development of the game. Over the years he has been supporting the game relentlessly and Pune has played host to many such reputed tournaments, thanks to his sincere efforts. This acknowledgement was long due, and we are amazed to see his passion only grow with each passing year”.
Mr. Rajan Khinvasara – President, Billiards and Snooker Association of Maharashtra (BSAM) said, “I am honored and happy for this recognition, this is only your love, and I feel there is still a lot to be done for the sport. I will keep working and hope that more people come up to support this amazing sport.”

Mr. Pankaj Advani played the opening shot on the Billiard and Snooker table and mesmerized the gathering by a display of some amazing shots. He also tried his hands at Tennis in the sports arena.
