Parliamentary Standing Committee Holds Meeting With FTII Pune Officials On Ways To Promote Film Education
Pune, 31st August 2021: The Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth and Sports visited the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Pune today.
Led by Dr Vinay P Sahasrabuddhe, Chairman, 14 Members of Parliament from Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha discussed steps to be taken by FTII for the promotion of film education. Some FTII alumni were also invited to the meeting.
From FTII, the meeting was attended by Bhupendra Kainthola, Director; Dhiraj Meshram, Dean Films; Sandeep K Shahare, Dean TV; Ms Dhanpreet Kaur, Director (Films), M/o Information and Broadcasting; Sayyid Rabeehashmi, Registrar and Minal Kakde, Chief Accounts Officer.
