Passenger Footfall Increase In Pune Division Of Railways, Rs 89.90 Crore Revenue Added In June
Pune 7th July 2023: The Pune Division Of Railways has recorded an increase in the ticket bookings especially those originating from the railway stations located in the Pune division last month. According to railway officials, a total of 43.9 lakh passengers have booked tickets from various railway stations of the Pune division compared to 33.1 lakh passengers recorded last year.
The ticket bookings recorded in June added a total of Rs 89.90 Crore revenue to the railways in the Pune division compared to Rs 77.74 revenue recorded last year.
The Pune division has also recorded an increase in the revenue from ticket checking as a total of Rs 2.64 Crore revenue has been collected in June 2023 compared to Rs 2.04 Crore collected in the same month last year.
Besides, Pune division has earned a revenue pf Rs 1.09 Crore in commercial advertisements, Rs 33.36 Crore by transporting 101 goods trains comprising 54 rakes of automobiles, 26 rakes of petroleum products and 21 rakes of sugar in June month.
