Passenger Train Collides With Goods Train In Gondia; More Than 50 Injured, 10 In Critical Condition

Gondia, 17th August 2022: A passenger train going from Raipur to Nagpur collided with a goods train near Gondia in Maharashtra. Three compartments got derailed due to this accident. According to reports, 50 passengers have been injured in this accident and the condition of 13 passengers remains critical.

According to reports, the passenger train ‘Bhagat Ki Kothi’ was leaving from Raipur towards Nagpur. The signal was not visible and as a result, the goods train and the passenger train came face to face.

The injured have been admitted to the district hospital and a private hospital for treatment.
