PCMC: 1077 New COVID Cases, 601 Discharged Today

Pimpri, 30 August 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 1077 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 601 people got discharged from hospitals while 14 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 48,737 out of which 33,873 have recovered while 862 have died. 6033 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 925 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 185  have died and 1840 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,542,733 across the country. Out of this, 2,713,933 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 63,498 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 7,65,302 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
