PCMC: 361 new COVID cases in Pimpri Chinchwad, 286 discharged

Pimpri, July 13, 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 361 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today.

 

Also, 286 people got discharged from hospitals while nine people died today. The report is for the period between 6.45 pm July 12 to 6 pm July 13 (today).

 

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 7637 out of which 4598 have been cured while 120 have died. 2122 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 218 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 43 non-PCMC residents have died while 376 have been cured.

 

Maharashtra State Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 2,60,924. Today, newly 6497 patients have been identified as positive. Also newly 4182 patients have been cured today. Till now 144,507 patients are cured and discharged from the hospitals while there are still 105,637 active patients in the state. Today, 193 people died taking the total deaths to 10482 till now.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 8,78,254 across the country. Out of this, 553,470 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 23,174 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 301,609 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
