PCMC: 784 New COVID Cases, 16 Deaths Reported Today
Pimpri, 24 September 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 784 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 1559 people got discharged from hospitals while 15 people died today.
According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 73,260 out of which 63,814 have recovered while 1206 have died. 5063 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 1135 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 412 have died and 4270 have been cured.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 5,732,518 across the country. Out of this, 4,674,987 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 91,149 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 966,382 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
