PCMC: 835 New COVID Cases, 15 Deaths Reported Today
Pimpri, 23 September 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 835 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 557 people got discharged from hospitals while 15 people died today.
According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 72,476 out of which 62,255 have recovered while 1190 have died. 5197 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 1173 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 398 have died and 4156 have been cured.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 5,646,010 across the country. Out of this, 4,587,613 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 90,020 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 968,377 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
