Top actors Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh summoned by NCB in ongoing drug probe

Mumbai, September 23, 2020: With the ongoing drug controversy, the names of top-notch Bollywood actors have come out who were accused of indulging in substance abuse.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has now issued summons for actors Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Simone Khambatta for questioning.

In Padukone’s case, the controversy goes deeper. Whatsapp chats between Padukone and her manager Karishma Prakash dating back to 2017 were accessed. In the chats, Padukone is talking about procuring drugs namely hash from her manager.

This is a part of the investigation being done by the NCB in the matter of consumption and procurement of drugs in Bollywood.

The NCB office has registered a case in Delhi for which they will question Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Simone Khambatta.

The case was registered by the NCB after procurement of chats from Rhea Chakraborty’s phone which revealed the consumption and procurement of drugs in Bollywood.

According to sources, these celebrities have already contacted their lawyers and are in touch with them.
