PCMC: 857 new COVID cases, 1158 discharged today

Pimpri, 25 August 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 857 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 1158 people got discharged from hospitals while 20 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 43,374 out of which 29,733 have recovered while 825 have died. 6123 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 661 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 169 have died and 1688 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,167,323 across the country. Out of this, 2,404,585 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 58,390 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 704,348 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
