Pune City: 1204 New COVID Cases, 44 Deaths Reported Today
Pune, Aug 25, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1123 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1204 new patients were detected while 44 people died today. Today swab samples of 6370 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 85,700 out of which 68,900 have been cured while 2077 have died. There are still 14,723 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 796 critical patients out of which 483 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,167,323 across the country. Out of this, 2,404,585 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 58,390 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 704,348 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
