PCMC: 997 New COVID Cases, 9 Deaths Reported Today

Pimpri, 15 September 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 997 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 1188 people got discharged from hospitals while 9 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 65,379 out of which 54,779 have recovered while 1065 have died. 6407 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 1195 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 304 have died and 3269 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,930,236 across the country. Out of this, 3,859,399 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 80,776 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 990,061 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
