Pune City: 1691 New COVID Cases, 43 Deaths Today
Pune, September 15, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1563 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1691 new patients were detected while 43 people died today. Today swab samples of 5494 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 122,448 out of which 102,095 have been cured while 2875 have died. There are still 17,478 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 929 critical patients out of which 473 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,930,236 across the country. Out of this, 3,859,399 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 80,776 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 990,061 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
