Pimpri Chinchwad, 27th February 2024: A comprehensive door-to-door survey is currently underway to validate the life certificates of differently-abled individuals availing themselves of diverse disability schemes within the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) jurisdiction. Originally scheduled to conclude on 26th February 2024, the survey has been extended, and its revised timeline now spans from 27th February 2024 to 26th March 2024.

The Social Development Department of PCMC diligently oversees the implementation of multiple welfare schemes tailored for the disabled community. As part of this initiative, a survey is set to be carried out from 26th December 2023 and will continue for 60 days.

Individuals with disabilities who have experienced changes in their residential address or mobile numbers are urged to promptly submit a written application to the head office, accompanied by relevant proofs. Assistant Commissioner of the Social Development Department, Shrinivas Dangat, extends an appeal to disabled citizens, requesting their cooperation with the PCMC administration in facilitating the life certificate survey. This collaboration ensures the effective execution of the welfare programs designed to benefit the disabled population.
