PCMC: Fake Caste Certificate Used By Chief Health Inspector, Enquiry Ordered
Pimpri-Chinchwad, 7th July 2022: Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Chief Health Inspector allegedly submitted a fake caste certificate of Schedule Tribe and duped the administration. Hence, Rajesh Patil, Municipal Commissioner, has ordered the inspector’s departmental inquiry.
Sunil Watade is the name of the Chief Health Inspector who works in the ‘F’ Divisional Office of the PCMC. The Scheduled Tribes Certificate Verification Committee, Pune, declared his first caste certificate invalid on 6th September 1997. Watade hid this from the municipal corporation administration and submitted a fake caste certificate instead.
The Municipal Commissioner has ordered the Health Department to complete the enquiry within 15 days.
