PCMC Gets 7000 Vaccine Doses For Above 45 Years People, Vaccination To Re-Start From Wednesday

Pimpri, 18th May 2021: After two days, vaccination centres will again open from Wednesday (May 19) for people above 45 years of age. Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has received 5000 doses of Covishield and 2000 doses of Covaxin. However, there will be no vaccination for 18-44 years group people, PCMC has clarified.

According to PCMC, people above 45 years who have taken the first dose of Covishield will be eligible for a second dose after a gap of 12 to 16 weeks or 84 to 112 days as per the central government’s new vaccination policy. People will continue to get a second dose of Covaxin after a gap of 28 days.

On Wednesday, 150 doses of Covaxin will be available at the following vaccination centres between 10 am to 5 pm:

1. Yamunanagar hospital
2. Primary School no. 92, More Vasti Mehtrevasti
3. Talera Hospital, Chinchwad
4. Premlok Park Dispensary
5.  Savitribai Phule School, Bhosari
6. New Bhosari Hospital
7. New Jijamata Hospital
8. Annasaheb Magar School, Pimple Saudagar
9. Acharya Atre Auditorium, Near YCM Hospital
10. Eye hospital, Masulkar colony
11. Khivansara Patil Hospital Thergaon
12. PCMC’s Ingole School, Pimple Nilakh
13. New Akurdi Hospital
14. ESIC Hospital, Mohan Nagar, Chinchwad
15. Pimple Gurav Middle School
16. Kasarwadi Dispensary

The first dose and second dose of Covishield will be given to above 45 years people at following 50 centres:
