PCMC: Nehrunagar Animal Crematorium Temporarily Closed for Electrical Repairs Until August 11
Pimpri, 8th August 2025: The animal crematorium located within the premises of the Nehrunagar veterinary hospital, operated by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), will remain temporarily closed from August 9 to 11 for essential electrical maintenance and repair work.
According to the PCMC’s Electrical Department, the crematorium, which is designated for the disposal of small animal carcasses, requires immediate technical upgrades and door repairs to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
Officials have stressed the importance of these repairs from an electrical safety standpoint. The facility will resume full operations once the work is completed by August 11. In the meantime, authorities have urged citizens to cooperate and bear with the temporary inconvenience.
The Animal Husbandry and Electrical Departments of the PCMC have jointly appealed to the public for their understanding and support during this short maintenance period.
