PCMC Standing Committee Gives Nod To Conduct Ward Wise Vendors Survey
Pune, October 23, 2020: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) standing committee has given green signal to conduct a ward-wise survey of the footpath vendors, hand-cart, kiosks etc. A budget of Rs 41.19 crores has been sanctioned for it during the meeting.
It was decided that the ward-wise survey will be conducted within 30 days from a private agency. This survey will be conducted from 8 am to 3 pm and 3 pm to 8 pm.
The agency will visit the spot and will take a picture along with the vendor. Then, the information will be uploaded on the software developed by PCMC. The manpower, survey, data collection, uploading of the data will be done by the private agency. The agency will issue the identity cards and will look into other matters.
