Permanently Cancel Pavana Pipeline Project And Build Service Roads Along Pune-Mumbai Expressway – Maval Residents To Chief Minister

Pune, 12th November 2022: A demand was made to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on behalf of Maval Taluka Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) to cancel the Pavana Pipeline Project which is ruining the farming class of Maval Taluka permanently and to construct a service road on the side of Mumbai-Pune Expressway passing through Maval Taluka in Pune district.

 

Chief Minister Shinde visited Maval two days ago and inspected the work of the missing link of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. At this time, the BJP delegation met Chief Minister Shinde at Ozarde and stated the said demands. Maval Taluka BJP president Ravindra Bhegde and Maval Taluka Mahila Aghadi president Sayali Botre have made this demand to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

 

Officials along with Maval MP Srirang Barne were present on this occasion. Taluka President of BJP Ravindra Bhegde, President of Maval Taluka Mahila Aghadi Sayali Botre, Dnyaneshwar Dalvi, Jitendra Botre, Eknath Tile, Moreshwar Padwal, Mukund Thakar, Dilip Kale, Tanaji Shendge etc welcomed the Chief Minister.

 

 

Bhegde and Botre gave a statement to Chief Minister Shinde demanding that the Pavana Pipeline Project should be cancelled permanently as the farmers are still opposing the project. There are villages with important markets in Maval along the expressway and the old road, as there is no service road connecting these villages, it is inconvenient for the citizens to travel.

 

The accident rate has also increased to a great extent. It has become inconvenient for students and the working class to travel.

 

Bhegade and Botre have demanded that service roads should be built on both sides of the road keeping in mind the safety of the villagers. It is said in the statement that this is the demand of the people of the taluka for many days.
