Pet Fed Pune 2025 Kicks Off With 1100 Pets and Thousands of Visitors on a High-Energy Day 1
Pune, 22nd November 2025: Pet Fed, India’s biggest pet festival and a Limca World Record holder, opened its 11th edition to an overwhelming response at the Deccan College Grounds. Presented by Royal Canin and powered by Drools, with Bowlers and Zepto as co-power sponsors, the event saw more than 1,100 pets and an estimated 6,500 pet parents and animal lovers participating on Day 1.
Visitors explored multiple all-day zones, including the Masterclass Arena, Play Zone, Agility Ring, Kitty Play Pen, Catapalooza, adoption camps, and over 100 stalls by leading Indian and international pet-care brands.
High-Energy Activities Mark Day 1
The first day featured an array of interactive sessions such as Walk & Wags, Fetch & Fumble, Trick Trail, Bug Buster, Wheel of Woofs, and the crowd favourite—Temptation Alley. Each activity witnessed enthusiastic participation, adding to the festival’s lively atmosphere.
A key highlight was the Security & Obedience Dog Show, organised in collaboration with Priyanka Patcki of Snout Scout. The show demonstrated advanced obedience routines, tactical manoeuvres and search techniques, giving visitors a rare glimpse into professional canine training.
Across the venue, pets enjoyed dedicated play zones with agility equipment, ball pools, slides and species-specific interactive setups. Pet parents attended expert-led masterclasses on health, grooming, nutrition, behaviour, photography and responsible pet parenting, underscoring Pet Fed’s focus on education and welfare.
Strong Feline Participation at Catapalooza
The Catapalooza zone saw a large turnout with cat-centric games, community activities and free microchipping. The International Cat Show, judged by Sudhakar Katikineni and Anne Carrol, showcased pedigreed cats assessed on global breed standards and temperament, drawing significant attention from both enthusiasts and first-time attendees.
Adoption Drives and Carnival Attractions
Adoption camps run by SAW, UNICEF and the Cheetos Foundation stayed active throughout the day, encouraging responsible adoption and offering opportunities to meet animals awaiting homes.
Visitors also enjoyed carnival-style experiences including pet caricatures, tarot readings, face painting and a wide selection of food and beverage stalls.
