Pimpri-Chinchwad: A British-era Bomb Found in Dehuroad

Pimpri-Chinchwad, December 31, 2020: A bomb believed to be of British-era was found at the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Dehuroad on Wednesday. During the excavation work in the morning, a JCB driver found the bomb and reported it to the police immediately. Last week too, a British-era bomb was found at the construction site of Punawale in Hinjewadi.

Dehurod in the morning with the help of JCB. A British bomb was found at that time. The JCB driver informed the police about this. Accordingly, Dehuroad police rushed to the spot. Soon, the bomb detection and destruction squad of Pune city police, as well as the squad of the defence force, were called. Both squads safely handed over the bomb to the police. The bomb will be disposed of after legal proceedings.
