Pimpri-Chinchwad: Congress Leaders and Mahavikas Aghadi Officials Rally for Rahul Kalate’s Victory in Sneh Mela

Pimpri Chinchwad, 6th November 2024: The Congress Party, along with its Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) allies, including Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), and the Sharad Chandra Pawar Party, held a dynamic gathering in Pimpri-Chinchwad City on Tuesday. The event, part of the ongoing Sneh Mela, was held at Hotel Kiriad in Akurdi, where party officials and workers rallied together in a show of support for Rahul Kalate, their candidate from Chinchwad constituency for the upcoming assembly elections.

The gathering was marked by an overwhelming sense of unity and determination to secure Kalate’s victory with a significant majority. City Congress Committee President, Dr. Kailas Kadam, welcomed and honored Kalate. Kadam emphasized that Congress had been instrumental in coordinating efforts during the Lok Sabha elections and expressed confidence that the party would continue its robust campaign for MVA candidates in the assembly elections.

“In the Lok Sabha elections, Congress was at the forefront, playing a pivotal role in campaigning for the Mahavikas Aghadi,” said Dr. Kailas Kadam. “Now, as we prepare for the assembly elections, Congress will continue to lead the charge, working alongside all our allies to ensure the victory of MVA candidates. We are committed to bringing a change in the state government.”

The event also saw the participation of several key leaders and party candidates from the three constituencies in Pimpri-Chinchwad. These included Pimpri candidate Sulakshana Sheelwant-Dhar, Bhosari candidate Ajit Gavhane, and numerous others such as Sangram Tawde, Vishnupant Newale, Shyamala Sonwane, Bindu Tiwari, and Tanaji Kate, among others. A large number of party workers and activists also attended, signaling strong grassroots support for the MVA.

Rahul Kalate, the MVA candidate, addressed the crowd, thanking party workers and leaders for their dedication and hard work. He highlighted the importance of electing the Maha Vikas Aghadi to restore law and order, tackle inflation, and address unemployment in the state. “We are working together, with great determination, to bring back a government that makes decisions for the common people. I urge everyone to vote for MVA and help us create a better, stronger Maharashtra,” Kalate stated.
